maybe an other member of the forum can answer in english at my question
about this broken brake line from this thread

was the brake line burst by his own or was the brake line damaged by a stone ?
the information is helpful for me, i have the same brake lines on my BMW and on the Africa Twin.

I vote for combination of the two mentioned possibilities. High pressure and the impact of some sharp object in the same time.
But if I have to chose than I would say that the brake line burst by its own. I can not imagine the sit that a stone could cause such damage.
