What is the Harley Davidson motorcycle to own? If a person could spend any amount of money and buy any Harley Davidson ever built (regardless of how many of them were built) which Harley Davidson would it be?

None Even I think that some of HD models look nice, I would NEVER, but I mean NEVER buy one of those.

On the other hand, I understand that some Harley Davidson models can be attractive for some of us, but I would rather use that money to buy something else....

Guess the first thing you want to do is briefly introduce yourself under sub forum CLANOVI (members), all new members do that so we know who we talk with. Regarding your question, well I have to agree with Kopljas, it seams that HD is a bike that you want to buy if you have a nice empty space in your house, very visible so you park it there and use it as an ornament Even the owners of HD's told me that the quality of some models is terrible. I had a chance do ride one, made a spin around the block and that was IT Had no desire to continue, yes it was that bad But at the end this is my opinion, although I would suggest you to try some Japs before you make your final decision. You might end up saving some money at the end if you can give up the HD logo , personally, it would be the only thing you would have to give up
